Cupple was born from a desire to make something people would use. Over the last few weeks we have been inviting friends to ‘Cupple’ up together and start testing what we have made. We’re working with a small group of friends who all now have Cupple on their devices. We are in the region of double figures which some might say isn’t a big enough group to really test the platform. Yes and no.
Cupple is/was always intended to be an intimate experience so the fact we have a smallish group at this stage fits in with the ideology of the platform. Coupled with the fact the people testing the App happen to be a pretty clued up bunch I think we’re in for some interesting learning’s and feedback.
As the platform grows organically we’ll be looking to bring on more people who will be using the App and I’m sure will be letting us know of their experience. From a small start up perspective (ours) it’s a lot easier to manage the process with smaller numbers who you know and can put a face to. People you can tweet, text, bump into at events and talk to about your product. It’s nerve wracking when you put your work and idea in the hands of another person.
Don’t be afraid to ask friends to look at what you’re doing and don’t be disappointed that you haven’t got half of Europe signed up to test your product. In time the scale will come and if you’re listening, you’ll find out all you need to know about your idea.
